I have Zone Alarm Version 5.5.094.000 with Win98ME installed,
i was wondering why in the Firewall tab/Zones i have four entrys
Name PPP Adapter.
Zone Internet
Entry Type Adapter Subnet
IP Address / Site 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0
Name PPP Adapter.
Zone Internet
Entry Type Adapter Subnet
IP Address / Site 10.157.65.120/255.0.0.0
Name Microsoft TV/Video Connection
Zone Internet
Entry Type Adapter Subnet
IP Address / Site 5.0.0.0/255.255.255.255
Name Bluetooth PAN Network Adapter NDIS Driver
Zone Internet
Entry Type Adapter Subnet
IP Address / Site 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0

the Microsoft entry i view as suspicious, why should Zone Alarm assign an IP Adress which i can not edit or delete also the same is true for the other entrys.
Any idea what's going on, is this a security risk?

Try running a spyware and anti-virus program. If there is a risk, they will pick it up.

It's fine in the sense that it's not spyware or anything.

2 PPP connections. Either you have to network cards or you have an old connection and a new connection

Name Microsoft TV/Video Connection - Google tells me that this looks to be a connection to a TV capture card. You could probably just delete this connection in the network control panel assuming you don't want to use it.

Name Bluetooth PAN Network Adapter NDIS Driver - Ah bluetooth, For this you'd just need to disable the bluetooth service. No idea why they insist on having this running on all machines.

Nothing bad though

Using a mac is like putting training wheels on a bike.
Sure they're easier to ride and you're less likely to fall...
But you still look like a wimp :)
