Attracting an INTJ as an ENTJ?

Anyone had any experience either way? I'm male and she's female - this particular one I'm quite enamored with I've know since we were about 6 YO.

What sort of things do INTJs like in ENTJs, if at all?

What sort of signs might you expect from an INTJ whose either interested or not interested?

Be persistent. One thing I have noticed is most defenses of INTJs are there to see who cared enough to break them down. Doesn't mean go insane with stalker-like characteristics all of a sudden, but just to plan for a long term campaign to win her heart.

I've been patient for about 3 years, guess I'll keep it up. Any other advice on how to deal with INTJs or read into signs in general - she seems...a little strange at times.

I can only speak about friends. I have a very good understanding with my ENTJ friends. Actually the communication is better than with INTJs, because I can fill more insight while they can fill more experience into our discussions. On the other hand, we have never been partners in any kind of activity. That's why I think that an INTJ-ENTJ relationship might be difficult. Also, INTJs don't like to be controlled, and ENTJs like to be in control.

I think Marcus pointed out the most probable flaw in an INTJ-ENTJ relationship -- ENTJ's like to wear the pants, while INTJ's don't like to wear the skirt. Metaphorically speaking, obviously.

I'm a girl INTJ and currently like an ENTJ. I really like how he doesn't try to please people all the time and is perfectly comfortable with reading by himself at lunch. He sometimes seems like an INTJ occasionally but he's very opinionated and we like arguing against eachother, since neither of us get our feelings hurt really easily.

As for signs- They aren't that obvious. Sometimes I'll ask what he is reading or just glance at him. The one big sign is that I sit up straight and tense up when he is near me, that's about it.

Just be yourself.

ENTJ and INTJ are pals, find the common interests and work with them. LOTS! Show your E and let she show his I to you. To show feelings to a INTJ you need to love with sense (logic). We love to be appreciated, but it needs to come from a person we respect, so if you wanna increase chances of succeding, learn to play with a INTJ. Good luck and have fun!

Ah, yes, and find ways to be around her. INTJs aren't the most obvious people, so if there's an opportunity to be with her, take it. For example, the ENTJ I like used to sit next to me at lunch, but recently decided to do work every day during lunch and I no longer talk to him regularly (which is crummy).
